"Just thought I'd write to say thank you for another wonderful stay at Maison Lavande. The weather wasn't great but it didn't make much difference. 3 different Markets, the Madiran and Marciac festivals, several riverside picnics and catching minnows in nets, blackberry picking, boules, bbqs, swimming, exploring the wine trails (Chateau Africau Bordes and Chateau Croiseilles are spectacular), a 6 course lunch at Relais D'Aydie, entertaining and being entertained by Jean Claude, several trips to the Pyrenees (kids loved the luge at Hautacam), fine cheeses and pork/duck products for lunch and pain au chocolat and croissants every morning. The kids, my parents and my wife and I enjoyed every day of it!"

Driving around trying to find Guy Capmartin, visiting the old church at Mazere, Maubourguet, the market at Plaisance, road trip to St Jean de Luz, many picnics at various spots on L'Adour, plenty of adventurous boules, bbqs, buying fresh bread and pain au chocolat every morning and of course entertaining your next door neighbour one evening in French and Spanish (facilitated by plenty of wine!) "
