The charm and welcoming atmosphere of maison lavande has been created by the various and colourful flora, shrubs, trees and gardens amongst the two separate dwellings - la maison and la forge. Built of Adour Valley river stones some 150 years ago, both dwellings have been modernised but in a way that retains much of their original character.
Set back behind its own gates, the property enjoys a privacy and a pastoral calm, whilst not losing touch with its village roots...
The only sounds to encroach are the distant rumble of weirs on the Adour river, the chirping sparrows, the croaking toads, and the occasional tractor passing by...
